C970 Treadmill Has A Dead Console And A Very High Pitched Sound When Pwr Applied

Hi There.

This sounds like a bad upper board, as I looked up the lower controller which uses a transformer to power the console circuits and would not contribute to that sound you hear. A bad CPU chip or corrupt software or a failed IC could cause odd operations, noises and no boot situations. Usually requires a replacement upper board to be installed which is not terribly difficult.
