Having Intermittent Problems Starting Car
Every couple of months, I have problems starting the car. it turns over but does not start. Turn car off for about a minute, try again, and the car starts. Several trips to the dealership; they finally replace the fuel pump. Everything okay for 2 months; last week problem recurs. Any thoughts?

If you have a second key for the car, use that one the next time it won't start. If it starts with the second key, the first key may be defective.
It's not starting because the anti-theft system in your car isn't reading the key as being the correct one for your vehicle. It thinks someone is trying to steal the car with a similar key, so it won't let it start.
