Help, I Have Two Computers To Connect Now.

Which port do i plug the internet cable into?

The switch i have is ALL numbers. it's a D-Link DGS1248T 1Gb/s. but i figured out that it doesn't matter which one i put it in, i could plug my computer into 3 and plug my internet Cat5e cable into 48 and it still works, turns out they are smarter than the average bear.

if you mean the "ethernet" cable, it goes into the "internet" port. the numbered ports are for your computers
