Motorola Roadster2 On/off Switch Broke.

Motorola Roadster 2 ON/OFF switch broke. It won't turn off. The unit is not under warranty any longer. How do I fix it?

Much to my dismay, the unit is not designed to be user serviceable. I was able to pry it open and found that the forked "U" shaped plastic toggle for mechanically switching the device on and off had broken for the side that turns it on. The work around might be to leave the unit charged and in the "on" position.
