If you have changed the default password on your Motorola C168i and have now forgotten the new password, there are a few things you can try to unlock your phone:
  1. Try entering the default password: If you can't remember the new password, try entering the default password for your phone. The default password for the Motorola C168i is "1234" or "0000".
  2. Perform a master reset: If you can't remember the password and the default password doesn't work, you can perform a master reset on your phone. Note that a master reset will erase all data on your phone, including contacts, messages, and media files. To perform a master reset, follow these steps:
    • Turn off your phone
    • Press and hold the * and # keys together
    • While holding down the keys, turn on your phone
    • Release the * and # keys when you see "Master Reset?" on the screen
    • Press the Yes key to confirm the reset
  3. Contact Motorola customer support: If you are still unable to unlock your phone, you can contact Motorola customer support for further assistance. They may be able to help you unlock your phone or provide you with additional options for resetting your phone's password.

If you have changed the default password on your Motorola C168i phone and now you are unable to unlock it, you may need to perform a hard reset on the phone to regain access. Please note that performing a hard reset will erase all data on the phone, so it is recommended to backup your data before proceeding.

To perform a hard reset on your Motorola C168i phone, follow these steps:

1. Power off your phone.

2. Press and hold the * and # key on your phone and power it back on.

3. When you see "Master Reset" on the screen of your phone, release the * and # keys.

4. Follow the prompts to perform the hard reset.
Once the hard reset is complete, your phone should be reset to its original settings and you should be able to access it again. However, you will need to set up your phone as if it was new and all the data previously stored on the phone

will be erased.
