Cva 4066 Stuck Brew Unit

The brew unit is stuck part way through a cycle so I can not it out of the coffee unit, I've tried to disassembly it while in the machine to aid in the removal, got the front cover off but can not get the motor to recycle to the original position nor can I get the brew unit removed. Any suggestions?
