How To Activate 4g Lte Internet On Metro Phone?

i already have my metro pcs phone activated with a unlimited internet at 4G LTE speed. question is: why does it appear only the 4G logo instead of 4G LTE like it should be. do i have to setup the 4G LTE mode?
