The serpentine belt tensioner can be a problem as well. They wear out eventually, which leads to a loose belt.
Are your brake lights on all the time? Check to see if they're on after you shut the car off. Brake lights use a lot of power, so they can drain your battery in no time.
If they're on all the time, you will have to adjust or replace the brake light switch. It's at the top of the brake pedal. Bend the bracket that holds it in place down a little and see if that turns off the brake lights. If it doesn't, you will have to replace the switch.
