My Maytag Bravo Mvwb450wq0 Washer Starts To Fill, Lid Locks And Then Quit.

The lights remain on, timer runs but it does not proceed with any cycles. The "add a garment" light stays on. Had a LF and ol code previously. We checked the hose screens for debris, unplugged the machine, checked the load balance and reloaded and started the wash cycle again. Washed two loads of clothes with no problem before this happened. What could be wrong? Thanks in advance.
