Lid Locked Light

when starting machine lid locked light keeps blinking

Possible solutions:

Check for lock interference with lock striker. The lock striker is the piece on the lid that fits inside the lid lock. See picture below. Note that the lock striker may be located in a different position on the lid, depending on your model number.
Check for wash media build-up (detergent, lint, etc.) at or near the lock or lock striker. Use a soft, damp cloth or sponge to wipe away any spills. Use only mild soaps or cleaners when cleaning external washer surfaces.

- Unplug the washer for 10 minutes and this may reset the washer and clear the flashing light. 2 - Press and hold the "END OF CYCLE / CYCLE SIGNAL" button(s) for 20 seconds and this should reset the washer and clear the flashing light
