Dishwasher Stops And Restarts During Its Cycle
after 4 years of dealing with this i had a repairman check it out he charged me $60 to tell me no error codes were coming up he even called whirlpo support but got nothing he said he recalibrated it and hopefully that would correct it i ran it today and it did the same thing his only other suggestion was that he could replace the econo chip that he said are being forced on manufacturers to meet energy standards

I'm a little confused of what you mean when you say it restarts by itself, can you explain further?
So when you start a new load it fills and runs fine then stops mid cycle? Then its just dead? Any lights on the control panel ON or FLASHING? How long does it take to restart by itself after it stops mid cycle?
Its sounds like a door latch switch problem, have you tried to open the door then close it after it stops mid cycle to see if it will start again?
