If your Makita HR2470F rotary hammer drill is not working, there are a few things you can check to try and identify the issue:

Check the power source: Make sure the drill is properly plugged in or that the battery is fully charged and properly inserted.
Check the power switch: Ensure the power switch is in the "on" position.
Check the carbon brushes: Carbon brushes are an important part of the motor's electrical circuit. If they are worn or damaged, they can prevent the tool from working properly. Check the brushes for wear and replace them if necessary.
