Not all numbers are transferable to magicJack. Here's a lengthy list of supported area codes. Here's a longer list that includes local prefixes. If your number is supported, here's how to effect the transfer:

Click the "My Subscriptions" tab, and then the "Details" button under "Transfer Your Phone Number to magicJack." Follow the prompts to submit your transfer request. There will be a fee of about $20.00.

If your number is not supported, you can return your magicJack.
