I Travel A Lot & Want To Be Able To Use Mj Anywhere I Go. How Do I Do That Witho

I bought magic jack 2 years ago but have never used it yet. I am renting a room & have WiFi here. I want to know how I would receive & make phone calls with what phone? I cannot use the phone that belongs to the people I rent from. I only have a cell phone. Would I be able to use that & if so how & not be charged extra? Would my cell phone be charged or it will be the regular fee I always pay. I do not have Canada on my cell phone, or if I call it would be 39 cents a minute which would be expensive. If magic jack can use my cell phone would I be paying this 39 cents a minute or would it be free? I don’t understand magic jack for my needs & there is no answer anywhere on line. It says you can use magic jack anywhere you go just plug in u computer, but who gets charged & what phone can I use where ever I am calling with MagicJack. The reason I bought my magic jack is that I travel a lot & want to be able to use it anywhere I go. How do I do that without tying up other peoples phone?

You need to have a regular home landline telephone to plug into your Magicjack. You can use a cordless. Your cell phone will not work with Magicjack. You just plug the Magicejack into your computer and then plug your phone into the Magicjack, it takes about 10-15 minutes to set up. The on screen prompts will take you through it. You may need to pay a renewal fee ($19.95 per year) you can do this a www.magicjack.com just type "renew" into the search box and it will take you to a online service representative. I believe Canada is free. Take you laptop (or desk) computer, magicjack & phone with you anywhere you go and have phone service. You can access you voice messages through you email also. Their international rates are fantastic!
