I Cannot Get A Dial Tone. Today,did Last Nigh,help..

Got a magicjack plus yesterday hooked it up to phone and computer got a dial tone and softpad added contacts dialed several numbers but had to put my own area code (251) in front of the local numbers to get the numbers. Today cannot get a dial tone or send an email and have asked tech support early this morning for help but received not response. I coul not even get to my order status with the orer #TS13164192 which you gave me on Confirmation email and Activation code MGHVM. What is the problem? Please help me and answer ASAP I am disable and need to use the phone immediately. Called the number but it stays busy all the time.

Your device may not work

if you're not logged on to your Windows user account,
if it's not running,
if it's not secured in the USB port,
if the phone cord is not secured or is broken,
if you're not connected to the Internet,
or if your magicJack device is defective.

If the device is not defective, simple actions will resolve the problem, as outlined here.

If the device is defective, you need to return it. If you bought it from magicJack, follow the instructions at http://my.magicjack.com/returns.html.

Go to the mj menu,scroll down to magicjack fix press that and wait for a respond. Try again after it finished fixing it.

reset your magic jack by going to the menu advanced users, reset

then go to menu and switch to telephone, and then it should work
