While, I Am Connected To The Internet And My Magic Jack Is Installed. The Magic

jack dial pad, with the contacts and calls are also on properly, there is still a problem with receiveing calls or making calls. There isn't a dial tone on my phone and there is a messge on the magicjack that reads:"Please connect to the internet". What could be the problem?

Your magicJack may not work properly, or at all

if you're not logged on to your Windows user account,
if it's not running,
if it's not secured in the USB port,
if the phone cord is not secured or is broken,
if you're not connected to the Internet,
if your Internet speed is too low,
if without a powered USB hub several phones are used to generate power from a USB port,
or if your magicJack device is defective.

If the device is not defective, these simple actions may resolve the problem. Or you may try these instructions. You can also reset the device, as explained here.

If the device is defective, you need to return it. If you bought it from magicJack, follow the instructions at http://my.magicjack.com/returns.html. If it's too late to return the device, you can seek a resolution with your credit card company or with the Florida Dept. of Agriculture and Consumer Services, at 850-488-2221 or 2005 Apalachee Pkwy., Tallahassee, FL 32399.
