My Magnavox Msr90d6 Will Not Tune Any Of My Ote Channels. How Do I Fix That?
I Know that I have local programming. I took my antenna coax from the TV and attached it to the video in on the DVD recorder. I could see the unit looking for channels as the TV was on the AV setting for that recorder. If I use coax out of the recorder, then the TV received the signal, but I think that was just a pass through of the signal. I could never change channels using the recorder remote. My only thought was that it's still looking for an analog signal, but before I put a A/D convertor in line, I wanted to hear from an expert. Will it even record OTR signals anymore, or are they all copy write protected now?

OTA signals are copyright encoding. The dvd recorder has no tuner is the reason it can scan the channels.
