Dvd Player Indicates Disc Error After Insertion
When unit is cold the picture breaks up (vertical noisy lines) and a scratchy noisel in the sound. After several "turn ons" the screen and audio is normal however no signal (picture and sound) on all sources. When a dvd is inserted there is a message Disk Error!

The disk i am trying to play has been played before in this magnavox dvd player. It is the right format even though it is from spain because i checked it when i ordered it and this the only disk that will not work and everything looks connected. What do you think i need to do?
