Loose Power Cord

The back of the microwave has what I can only describe as a gray tab sticking out above the power chord. You can see it on page SP-6 of the instruction manual. It is on the picture to the right. The tab on my new microwave is loose and I can move it and the power cord, slighty up and down. This concerns from a fire/safety standpoint. Any ideas what the tab is for? Thanks. Kate
