Is There A Default Password For Access To The Bios?

My daughter dropped the notebook and it will not start up. It says "reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media" When delete or F11 pressed it requests a password - is there a default as she has lost all the supplied paperwork it came with!!!!

No, there is no default password. The BIOS would not have a password on it normally. The user has to turn on the password and make one themselves.
