Msi Cr620 Screen Problem

When I start my laptop, everything appears in just the upper left part of the screen, and the text seems distorted. I checked my screen settings and everything appeared to be working properly and well-adjusted. hence i believe it must be an issue with my hardware, and after a few reboots the problem persists. Also, when I try to close the lid(screen), the computer shuts down.

Greetings - It sure sounds like a defect hardware. Though suggestions may be made, the most worthy solution is to present the machine to a service technician who will perform diagnoses and consequently make accurate recommendations.
