Wep Number
I want to connect my iPad to my network. When it asks for a password I put in my security code and it doesn't work. My IT said to use the wep number on my Linksys router. There is no wep number on my router. What should I do?

The IT guy is right. It's not asking for your Windows password, it wants the WEP (wired equivalency protocol) pass-phrase. This is programmed into the wireless router.
If you don't know it you'll need to log into the wifi router and get it or reset the router. The process is not complicated but it's too long to recount here.
