Mh5011r Motor Hums

The overhead door was working fine, no changes made to it. Now, if power is left on, motor hums continually. Door will open using remote or up/down/stop buttons, but will not close with remote or up/down/stop buttons. Must close door manually using the chain. Thought it might be sensors, so eyes have been disconnected, problem still persists. What could the problem be?
