Need Wiring Instructions For Mj5011.

I have an 850LM receiver and a 891LM remote. Instructions say to put wire on OPEN and one on COMMON. My liftmaster only has 3 options, open,close and stop. No Common. The unit serial number is 361-A1-52649, it is about 14 years old.
