Error code 1-5, 1.5 or 15 is technically referred to as a "motor control" error and is very serious. It is a malfunction that cannot be repaired without exchanging the motor control module.
How do I reset my LiftMaster 8500w?
Press and hold the LEARN button until the LED goes out (approximately 6 seconds). 2. Immediately press and hold the LEARN button until the LED goes out. All codes are now erased.
