My Machine Is Scanning Each Document At Approx 2.4mb.

How do I reduce the size of the scan and what size is "normal" for Real Estate docs?

Your Lexmark X9575 machine is scanning each document because the document may contain photos and images in high quality contrast. Unfortunately, there is no way to reduce the size of the document you wish to scan unless if you scann a less colored document. You can refer to the user's manual here for more information.
