283.01 Scanner Jam Error

Lexmark x746 is flashing red and showing a 283.01 scanner jam error.  What is the problem?  I have already checked for paper.

It could be a problem with the sensor or ADF controller card. It would be best if you can contact our technical support team so they can diagnose the cause of the problem.
