Error: 1203 means there is a short circuit on the printhead of the ink cartridges that you have. To confirm which ink cartridge is at fault, remove one ink cartridge and leave the other one on the printer, close the carrier latch and close the printer cover. Also do this to the other cartridge. The error will occur on the which ink cartridge has a fault.
