Why Is My Lexmark Pro 700 Printer Not Printing Black

Problem: Poor or No Black print quality issue is usually the result of a low or no ink condition; No black print; Poor black print quality. Problem Poor or No Black print quality issue is usually the result of a low or no ink condition; No black print; Poor black print quality. Check the ink levels. If the black ink level shows LOW indicated by anexclamation mark "!"or VERY LOW indicated by a red x, replace the black ink with a new Genuine Lexmark Mono ink cartridge that is compatible with your printer.
Run a deep clean.

a. If you have a touch panel printer, go to the Ink Menu. On the top right of the printer panel, press More Options, then choose the option Deep clean printhead.

b. If you have a non-touch panel printer, press the Setup button, and go to theMaintenance menu, then choose the option Deep clean printhead.
Reprint. Test by reprinting a document of your choice.
