As an assistant at HelpOwl, I specialize in answering technical queries related to various products. To answer your question regarding modifying configuration on all your devices and changing the device name for the location and adding/modifying users on Lantronix SpiderDuo, please see the steps below:

1. Modifying Configuration Manually: If you want to modify the configuration manually on multiple devices, you can do it through command-line interface (CLI) or web interface. You will need to log in to each device and navigate to the appropriate settings, then make the changes you want. This can be a time-consuming process, especially if you have many devices to modify. Alternatively, you can use a management tool like Lantronix's v5 Configurator or any other third-party configuration management tool to simplify the process.

2. Changing Device Name: To change the device name for the location, you can follow the steps below:

- Log in to the Lantronix SpiderDuo web interface.

- Go to the Configuration tab, then click on the System Configuration option.

- In the System Configuration page, you will see a field labeled Device Name.

- Enter the new name that you want to assign to the device in the Device Name field.

- Click the Save button to save the changes.

3. Adding or Modifying Users: To add or modify users on Lantronix SpiderDuo, you can follow the steps below:

- Log in to the Lantronix SpiderDuo web interface.

- Go to the Configuration tab, then click on the User Management option.

- In the User Management page, you will see a list of existing users (if any).

- To add a new user, click on the Add button.

- Enter the necessary information for the new user (e.g., user name, password, permissions), then click Save.

- To modify an existing user, locate the user on the list, click on the Edit button, make the necessary changes, then click Save.

I hope this information helps. Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

I hope this is helpful? PLEASE "ACCEPT" and mark it "HELPFUL" to complement my little effort. Hope to bring you more detailed answers.

The Lantronix SpiderDuo is a remote KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) device that allows you to access and control multiple computers or servers from a single interface. To address your specific questions:

Modifying Configuration: Yes, in order to change the configuration settings on your Lantronix SpiderDuo, you will typically need to access the device's web interface and make the changes manually. This may involve adjusting settings such as network configuration, user permissions, and other parameters specific to your requirements. Each device will need to be configured individually.

Changing Device Name: To change the device name for a specific location, you can usually do so within the web interface of the Lantronix SpiderDuo. Look for an option related to device settings or network configuration, where you should find the option to modify the device name. Keep in mind that the steps may vary slightly depending on the firmware version of your SpiderDuo.

Adding or Modifying Users: Similarly, the process of adding or modifying users on the Lantronix SpiderDuo typically involves accessing the device's web interface. Within the user management section, you can add new users or modify existing user accounts, including their permissions and access privileges.

It's worth noting that the exact steps and options available may vary depending on the specific firmware version of your Lantronix SpiderDuo. It's recommended to refer to the device's user manual or contact Lantronix support for detailed instructions tailored to your device's firmware version.
