Calling And Receiving Calls

Cannot make or receive calls on LG phone. Service transferred from another phone because of same issues. Can send and receive texts. Prepaid services is unlimited talk & text. Service does not expire until 8/26/2012. What could be wrong? Two different phones-same problem.
