Sound With Radio But,nothing When Connected To Tv

I bought this system used at a tag sale, remote missing. I've hooked similar units up before to television with no problem.,but this one only sound comes out when in radio mode. Nothing from TV. Not having a remote , I don't know if there's something that I'm missing in the settings.

Try resetting the unit. Follow the instructions at https://www.manualslib.com/manual/418830/Lg-Lhb953-Home-Theater-System.html?page=61#manual, at the bottom. If the issue persists or if you require further advice, you'll have to consult LG: use the contact information at https://www.contacthelp.com/lg/customer-service.

If you find you need a remote, you can probably get a replacement from LG, using the above link. Otherwise, a good source for remotes is https://www.remotes.net/. For used, I recommend http://www.searchtempest.com/,* which will provide many useful filters, will let you search locally or country-wide and even globally, and covers Craigslist, eBay, Amazon, and many other sources.
