Lg Lhb336 Problem

My Blu-ray Player displays PLEASE WAIT on the display, and that's all it does, cannot control manually or with the remote control, just displays PLEASE WAIT. I had the latest updates before problem started, player is 5 years old. Resetting and power off and on does not help. Any ideas?

Either you have a scratched disk or the lens of the player has dust or debris on it & needs cleaning.
