Fridge Is Randomly Not Cooling.
My fridge is an LGLDCS24223S. Randomly it will not cool. Sometimes it is fine for a day or two, sometimes it is only and hour or two. I called a local repair person, and they said it needs a control board. I called them back after they hadn't called me in 5 days with an estimate to repair it. Now they are saying that they can not locate the part. I googled it, and found it on Amazon in 15 minutes. Kinda makes me lose faith in their ability, or their enthusiasm in actually fixing my fridge. I am fairly handy, and I think I could troubleshoot it, but am looking for some guidance on how to do so. Why is my LG fridge running but not cooling?
The first possible cause of your LG refrigerator not cooling is dirty condenser coils. The condenser coils help to keep the fridge cool by cooling the warm air underneath the fridge. ... Check if the condenser coils are dirty. If they are dirty, give them a good clean and then plug your refrigerator back in.
