That Doesn't Solve My Problem. All The Manual Tells Me Is What Buttons I Need

to press to skip forward/backward for chapters. I already know that, which is why I say I have issues with this. My problem is that the skip forward button does not jump to the file's next chapter, but straight to the next file. Meanwhile, pressing the skip backward button does recognize the file's chapters. Furthermore, when I press Info/Menu during playback, it tells me what file I'm viewing out of the total files (e.g. 3/10 being on the third file out of ten), but it doesn't show me the chapter line telling me which chapter I'm on out of the total available in each file. It works fine with regular DVDs, but not with mkv/mp4 files.
