Red Standby Light Dioes Not Come On
when i attatch the poiwer cord tio the tv and plug it into the wall outlet i get nothing . no red standby light. it worked one time for a couple of days but now nothing

Try this it worked for me,,I have seen quite a few of these posts on here,,, and here is how i fix my problem,, my red stand by light was flashing 5 blinks several times before the screen would go dark,, after reading all these posts and unpluging the set,,etc,,etc,, i did this and it's gone now,,, simply went to the menu under video,, and the setting for the type of video,, (Vivid,, Theater, Gaming and Movie),, Mine was on Vivid,, so i changed it to Theater,, and yes the red light does not come on anymore,,, now note the red light stays off for every mode except the vivid mode that it was originaly causing it to blink,, well this is not a fix,, it deos allow you to watch your tv without it turning off,,and on,, several times durring a show or movie,, hope this helps some people out there,, good luck,,
