Bizhub C5500 Doesn't Respond

We are trying to make a Bizhub C5500 work on an Apple MAC OS 10.6.8. This should work through IP adressing the pinting unit, but doesn't. The Command Workstation 5 which is being installed recognises the printer and even prints out properly the colour testing sheet. But when we try to approach the printer through 'Word', we wil see the installed IP address as possible printer, but it won't print anything. Suggestions?
