How Do I Clean Microfiber From The Glass Stove Top?

I have a KitchenAid ElecttricRange Arichitect Series II model number KESS908SPS06 stove. Last night while the front right burner was cooling down after being shut off, I accidentently touched the cooling down burner with an microfiber cloth made by e-cloth. The microfiber cloth burned some fibers onto my burner. How do I remove this residue from my stove without causing anymore damage to the stove.Beth
