Is is this radio worth fixing if it is damaged even if the screen is still in good shape what are the common causes for it not to power on

yes these are expensive radios and you can give it a shot by fixing this you won't regret. There should be 12-14 volts at the plug for your system. If you're not getting any power, it's likely that the cord has come loose, or that a fuse has blown. 15 amps is quite a bit for a mobile device.
Check your fuse panel under the dash, and make sure your fuses are all good. It's likely that one has blown, and that's where to start. Let me know if all of your fuses check out and it still won't come on.

Check your fuse panel under the dash, and make sure your fuses are all good. It's likely that one has blown, and that's where to start.if the error persist. Try this as well :
The next thing to do is press the reset button. Make sure there isn't a USB device connected, and press this button. It should come right up. The fact that you have a light on it tells me there is power. Is it flashing? If it is flashing, that tells me that the ignition power is not getting to the unit. Double check the wiring harness, make sure it's seated properly. If the light is flashing, we need to find out why there is no power to the unit.
