Pairing Issues With My Windows 7 Pc

My KDC-X996 has been successfully paired with my Windows 7 Pro x64 laptop for many months, but not without considerable difficulty. But now I can't get the two to pair at all. I am using this unit in my motorhome so I can stream movies on my laptop and play the audio through the Kenwood. It is clear that they see each other, and often each of them say the pairing was successful, but then when I try to control the Kenwood to play audio the PC waits to connect and then gives an error: "Error connecting to headset. Please try this operation again."In the past I would have the same issues but for some reason it would eventually connect and play fine for months. I'm not sure why. But this time no dice. I can pair my Kenwood to my Galaxy S4 in seconds and play music. I can pair my PC with my mouse and keyboard without any problem. One thing that I noticed is that both seems to be trying to send codes to the other, and ignoring the codes from the other. I have never successfully seen a pairing with the same code sent across.Has anyone seen this problem before?ThanksDavid
