Kenwood Ddx514 Code Lock
I bought a car with the kenwood ddx514 reciver and I went to hook up my amplifier and when I hooked the battery up to turn it on it has a code lock and I called the dealership and the owners before me didnt know the code either is there a factory reset or is it a paper weight?

I went to my Kenwood dealer and they called Kenwood for me to verify that my unit was not stolen and with my remote my Kenwood dealer was told that what she told me to turn the unit on point the remote at your unit and push the sequence 52222 777 and that is a factory override and it will go into working mode. .... this did not work at first until reading this for him I realize you had to bypass the 4 digit code set request then you can use what I have just given.
