Kenmore 24'' Laundry Center W/ Electric Dryer

The washing machine's light stays on and flashes. Only since the repair guy came and check it. It was working before, just didn't always spin properly. I can't wash anything now. He opened the panels and said he had to order a cirques board. What can I do now?
