Refrigerator
kenmore model fridge is ticking like a clock. web sites i have visited say its a run capacitor and gave me a part numberwpn. when i called kenmore they said they had no part number to match. said they had 2 capacitors none called running.they gave me part #4390624 and called it an overload capacitor. are they the same? could that be what is causing ticking? thank you

I would certainly proceed on the information you got from a Kenmore technician. Note that we volunteers at Help Owl are rarely if ever technicians, and the information you already have is far more reliable. If you want to double-check it, call Sears (Kenmore is a Sears brand). Call Sears at 800-427-3049 or 847-289-2500 or 800-549-4505. Expect to be referred to a nearby Sears Service Center.
