Jensen Vm9512 Will Not Power On.

I purchased this unit from a friend and upon testing it in my shop using a car battery it will only blink a blue light. I hooked up the battery, acc, and ground wire but it only blinks blue at the source button. I hit the reset button but that didnt work either.
