Pass Word Code

I bought a used jeep with a Jensen car stereo two in it with password protection on it. or at least that is what I was told. My battery went dead this spring and now and after taking the battery out and replacing with a new battery the stereo won't even turn on anymore. I was told I need a password code to get turned back on but the dealer I bought the car from said they have no way to get a hold of the person who put a code on that stereo. can you help me get this to work again? Jensen is made by Audiovox. The default passcode should be "012345". It may work if the old owner never changed the passcode to a new one. I've seen where the same code in reverse sometimes works.

If that code doesn't work your only other choice will likely be to send the unit back to the factory for reset. The owners manual states "NOTE: If you forget your password, contact Customer Service at 1-800-323-4815 for assistance."
