Find Troubleshoot For No Disc

Thank you freginold with the help on the JVC 12-compact-disc magazine and controller.I used the manual CH-X1100..I got it all reset and working, however Is there a troubleshoot sheet anywhere to help with why it reads no disc and runs threw all 12 without play any of the CD's

It is possible the drive unit does not detect that the disc is in place. There is a microswitch on the drive unit which detects the disk, and tellls the unit to read the directory and play. If that switch be it optical or mechanical has failed, it could be the problem. If you have technical knowledge then take a look but if not then take it to an engineer who deals in players.

Note the message regarding lasers and your eyes.
