Help! Surround Sound Will Not Work

I'm needing help with the surround sound on the RX-778V. I get no sound from any spakers when the receiver is in Pro Logic or DBS mode. I can only get sound from the left and right speakers without the Pro Logic or DBS on. When I try the test patter with the Pro Logic on, no sound from any speakers.
