Good Picture But No Sound
The television has a picture but no sound.
The manual's troubleshooting pages suggests making sure the stereo mode is set to stereo or mono but I do not know where this setting is located. It is not in the Audio menu.
On a separate post in this forum, another user had a similar problem. It was suggested that they do the following:
Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens.
Press ^ or v to select Audio, then press > to enterAudio menu.
Press ^ or v to select TV Speaker, then press > to select On.
Unfortunately, my model does not have this option. Within the Audio menu, I can only
adjust the Bass, Treble, and Balance
Select Audio: Select from News/Movie/Music/User
Audio Language: set at Default
MTS: set at mono
Digital Audio Output: selsect Raw/PCM
I've verified Mute is not on.
I checked the headphones and they have the same problem - no audio
Any help would be greatly appreciate

The only settings that would prevent the TV from outputting audio are the Audio Language and MTS settings. As long as they are set to English for Audio Language and Mono or Stereo for the MTS setting. After that you will want to check the connections from your source devices. Make sure the devices are correctly connected. You will want to try changing cables and try multiple devices to see if the audio will work. If the audio won't work on any connection or device then it is likely the components that control the sound in the TV have gone bad and need to be replaced.
