2001 Infiniti QX4 Support Question

2001 Qx4 Infiniti
My husband just bought this 2001 QX4 Infiniti, and according to previous owner he worked offshore and would drive the vehicle to job park vehicle and when came back from offshore he drove vehicle home and parked it until next time to leave offshore and the last time he drove it same thing drove to work came back after 2 weeks and drove home, When it was time to go back to work it wouldn't crank, so the vehicle sat for 2yrs. IKR!!! Well that's when my husband brought it home couple of days ago , and the vehicle wouldn't crank and the previous owner said it was the regulator and fuel pump, husband put a fuel pump on and no luck still will not crank. Any help or advice is appreciated greatly. Thank you..
