Treadmill Is Lagging And Needing To Know What Type Of Lubricant Should We Use?
Our treadmill (Image 977....Model #977030 December 1996) is lagging and thinking we need a lubricant for it...CAN WE USE ANY TYPE OF LUBRICANT??? I saw on here where WD40 was use? Don't remember receiving any form of lubricant in tube or spray with our treadmill...just the paper book and the two allen renches for it. I keep everything when we get something together always. I, also, watched a video on how to do it already! I don't ever remember doing this, but now it's lagging so we've checked everything else (we've tighten the belt...we've cleaned the dust underneath with a rag as we saw on the video....we've made sure the belt is not too close to either side of the walking path..and think that lubricant is what it needs. Even when we don't walk on it and just run it we can see it's lagging. It doesn't stop...it just lags. We've had it for years and this is the first time that I can remember it doing this. Thanks for any info.
